This functionality allows you to define a specific item as default option to the Cross Catalog feature when using items from SpaceHolder catalog. You can do this in three ways: hardcoded from a different version or catalog, hardcoded using the same version, or using a catalog dependency from a different version or catalog.
Space Holder
For each item from SpaceHolder catalog one attribute will be available to carry the default item ID. These attributes were created based in the item ID, replacing the spaceholder word to the defaultoption word. For example:
Item ID: spaceholder_appliance.hood_underwallcabinet
Attribute: defaultoption_appliance.hood_underwallcabinet
This attribute can be hardcoded in the catalog or can use dependency management.
Hardcoded (from different version/catalog):
Below you can see an example where the SpaceHolder catalog is used as dependency with the prefix s in the catalog.
The value is using the fixed catalog code 85377 and the ID dec_elet_ele_dom_dep_dep_01.
| Note: If you are consuming Core Library as dependency and not SpaceHolder catalog, you should define the attribute as per the image above using the Core Library dependency prefix instead of SpaceHolder, since you do not have it. |
Hardcoded (from same version):
Below you can see an example where the SpaceHolder catalog is used as a dependency with the prefix s in the catalog.
The value is using the fixed ID dec_elet_ele_dom_dep_dep_01 from the same catalog.
The attribute #THIS_CATALOGID# should be created and used at beginning of the value, as shown in the image above.
The attribute should be registered with the default value as show in the image below:
| Note: If you are consuming Core Library as dependency and not SpaceHolder catalog, you should define the attribute as per the image above using the Core Library dependency prefix instead of SpaceHolder, since you do not have it. |
Using dependency (from different version/catalog):
Below you can see an example where a new dependency was created to control the default item.
The dependency uses the prefix hood and is defined to the catalog DecorativeIM up to the version 4.0.4. Under this dependency you should set the attribute and the value using the respective prefix hood.
