The Appliances Feature is designed to allow end users to select appliances by feature, providing a more configurable experience.
The feature is attribute-dependent, meaning that when the corresponding attribute is enabled, the feature becomes visible to the end user. No additional configuration is required — simply enable the attribute and the feature will be available automatically.
Attributes
To enable the Appliance Feature set COMMON_TYPE_INTEGRATION_APPLIANCE_FEATURE attribute to true.
To enable the Warming Drawer set COMMON_WARMING_DRAWER_FEATURE attribute to true.
The feature will then appear in the user interface, allowing appliance selection for all items in the library. If you want to disable it for a specific item, you must do so manually.
Available Options
Some options will be available in each section and when selecting the desired option, the cross catalog feature will open normally as it works today.
Tall
For Tall Items an option will be available for each opening (Microwave, Oven, Shelf Appliance, Coffee Machine and Double Oven).
In case of more than one opening, when choosing Double Oven in the Upper Appliance, the options of the Lower Appliance will be restricted.
The warming drawer option is also available in tall and base items. There will be an option for each drawer in the item, the example below is of an item with 3 drawers.
Base
For base items, the available options are sink and cooktop at the top of the structure.
Base and Wall Opening
For the opening the options available are the same from the Tall items.
Appliance Depth Position
If the alignment of the appliance is still not as required in relation to the depth of the item, you can consult the Dimensions tab where you will find the field to move as much as desired.
