Content Studio improves authoring efficiency with enhanced bulk edit capabilities and introduces validation rules for attribute values based on datatype constraints. This release also includes several fixes across bulk editing, imports, filtering, grouping, and performance.

Bulk Edit actions are now organised separately for Features and Options.

Attribute Value Validation by Datatype
Authors can now assign and edit attribute values with validation based on the attribute's datatype.
Key capabilities include:
- Selection from a predefined list of values when applicable.
- Support for formulas or references to other attributes where applicable.
- Validation of entered values before saving.
- Validation of numeric inputs for number and decimal attributes.
- Validation of formula syntax, but not the output result, except where feasible by datatype.
- Validate that the formula produces a valid result based on the attribute’s datatype.
- Usability enhancements for lists autocomplete, tooltips, and real-time validation feedback.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Bulk Edit
- Fixed an issue where conditions could not be added to Boolean attributes through Bulk Edit.
- Fixed an issue where the Bulk Edit Delete action did not allow selection of a specific geometry details path.
- Fixed an issue where section drop-down lists were not available for classification characteristics in Bulk Edit.
- Fixed an issue that displayed an undefined error when adding Boolean attribute values to options through Bulk Edit in Shiloh catalog.
Import & Export
- Fixed an issue where existing option references were removed after exporting and re-importing an unmodified CSV file in UNWIND.
Filtering & Item Management
- Fixed an issue where items could not be filtered using part of the FullItemType.
- Fixed an issue where FullItemType could not be edited or copied.
Groups, Options & References
- Fixed an issue where the GroupFromTemplate command assigned items to incorrect groups.
Performance & Stability
- Fixed an issue where the Shiloh catalog took longer to load and could crash.
- Fixed an issue where the Shiloh catalog crashed after applying filter in names of features and selecting options of filtered feature.
- Fixed an issue where using 3D Authoring Viewer and Item Inspector gives 9999 unexpected error.
