This enhancement helps manufacturers and retailers create market-specific catalogs more efficiently by allowing predefined feature selections to be applied within derivative catalogs and multi-brand catalog structures.
Catalog Access Change Confirmation
Content Studio now displays a confirmation dialog whenever catalog access settings are modified.
Before changes are saved, users receive a clear summary showing:
- The previous value.
- The new value.
- All affected access settings.
Additional warnings are displayed when access is expanded to all domains, helping prevent unintended catalog exposure.
Bulk Selection for Price Rule Deletion
Authors can now select all price rules in a single action before performing deletion operations.
This streamlines administration tasks and reduces the effort required when managing large numbers of pricing rules.
New Catalog Retrieval APIs
New APIs are now available to retrieve catalog information directly by Catalog ID or Catalog Code.
The APIs support:
- Single catalog lookups.
- Batch requests.
- Machine-to-machine integrations.
- Improved caching strategies.
Responses include key catalog metadata such as catalog identifiers, latest activated versions, access levels, and visibility information.
Latest Activated Catalog and Dependency Resolution API
The platform now provides API support for retrieving the latest activated catalog version along with resolved dependency versions.
Key capabilities include:
- Automatic resolution of the latest activated version.
- Dependency version resolution.
- Semantic version information.
- Support for backend-to-backend authentication.
This reduces dependency management complexity for consuming applications and integration services.
Several new certification rules have been introduced to improve catalog quality, data consistency, and application compatibility.
Dependent Catalog Validation
Certification now validates whether dependent catalogs reference items that have been removed from source catalogs.
Errors are generated when deleted items are still referenced by derivative catalogs, helping prevent activation issues and broken catalog relationships.
Dependency Reference Integrity Validation
Certification now verifies that all item references originating from dependency catalogs remain valid.
This applies to:
- Direct item references.
- Sub-item references using catalog-qualified identifiers.
Invalid references generate certification errors before publication.
Cut-Out Geometry Validation
New certification checks ensure that products requiring cut-out geometry contain the necessary cut-out definitions.
This validation applies to supported:
- Sinks.
- Washbasins.
- Cooktops.
- Built-in ovens.
- Built-in coffee machines.
- Doors.
- Windows.
The validation evaluates assembled geometry to ensure downstream design applications can correctly generate required cut-outs.
Attribute Proposed Values Validation
Certification now confirms that static attribute values match the supported values defined for the attribute.
Values calculated through formulas are excluded from this validation. This helps improve data consistency throughout catalog content.
Base Feature Type Validation
A new certification rule ensures that all features include a defined Base Feature Type.
This improves compatibility with consuming applications such as Design Flex and Spaces Flex, helping ensure correct feature interpretation and user interface behaviour.
Auto-Deco Accessory Classification Validation
New validation rules have been added to verify accessory classification requirements for Auto-Deco scenarios.
The rules assess whether supported accessory types contain the expected classifications and characteristics required for automated design placement.
Warnings are generated when validation requirements are not satisfied.
