Content Import & Catalog Setup
- One-Click IDM Conversion & Import; Authors can now convert an IDM source database and automatically import it into Authoring Hub in a single workflow. The system handles extraction and processing of the generated content package and creates a draft catalog ready for enrichment and authoring, eliminating the need to download, extract, and manually import files.
Automation & Efficiency
- MCode Assignment Available from the Actions Menu; Authors can now run the MCode assignment process directly from the Actions menu in the Materials window. The automation identifies materials using the material name, description, and baseColor texture and proposes the best matching MCode, with a confirmation step before changes are applied.
Authoring & Productivity
- Enhanced Classification Automation Controls; Authors now have greater control over classification updates. When running the classification command, users can specify which characteristics should be updated, exclude selected characteristics from updates, and optionally overwrite existing values. If no parameters are provided, the system continues to update only missing values as before.
Translation & Localisation
- Group Translation Automation; Translation automation has been extended to support group names and descriptions. Authors can automatically translate item, feature, option, material, and attribute groups, with support for overwriting existing translations when required. Translated content follows the standard review and pending changes workflow. Brand and Collection item groups remain excluded from translation.
Command-Based Features
- Enhanced Classification Command; Classification command now supports targeted updates through configurable parameters, giving authors more control over which characteristics are populated or replaced.
- Translate Groups; Command-based translation automation for supported group types, helping authors accelerate multilingual catalog creation while maintaining consistency across languages.
