This Content Platform release introduces several improvements across the Content Platform, Authoring Hub (AH), and SFX components, including enhancing configuration flexibility, improving pricing accuracy and display, strengthening catalog integrity and reducing user errors in pricing workflows.
✨ New Features, 🚀 Enhancements & Improvements
Custom String Feature Type Support
Manufacturers can now capture user‑entered custom strings, such as paint match codes, directly in configuration. This enables workflows like Superior Cabinets’ custom colour matching.
Display Quantity Overrides for Area/Linear Pricing
Pricing rules now support author‑defined display quantities, allowing area‑ or linear‑based materials to show meaningful quantities (e.g., 2.35 m²) instead of unit counts. displayQuantityFormula and displayQuantityUOM added across schema, backend, APIs, and UI API returns both technical quantity and display quantity. Decimal quantities fully supported.
Certification Rule for Dependency Catalog Validation
A new certification rule ensures that all itemRefs and subitem references to dependency catalogs remain valid after catalog updates.
Updated Activation Warning for Price Lists
The Price List activation dialog has been updated to clearly warn users that activation makes pricing visible to all customers (unless restricted).
