This article explains how to filter attributes to show only those relevant to the selected item.
The Relevant system attributes toggle filters the list to display only attributes that apply to the selected item.
Using the relevant system attributes toggle

How relevance is determined
When an item is loaded, the system identifies the attributes that are valid for that item.
For items that reference a Core Library subitem, the system uses the referenced Core Library design item list and shape hierarchy to determine which System Attributes are valid. Only these valid attributes are displayed when the Relevant system attributes toggle is enabled.
For other items, the system reads the item's shape hierarchy, collects the attributes associated with each shape, and displays them as relevant attributes.
How to display only valid core attributes
To do that, follow these steps:
- Open an item and go to the Attributes tab
- Toggle Relevant system attributes on
- Toggle Hide default value off.
With this toggle combination, only relevant System Attributes and redefined attributes are displayed.
