Authoring Hub - Feature and option refCodes

This article explains refCodes for features and options and how they enable integration with external systems.

RefCodes (reference codes) are properties sent to pricing and integration systems. Previously, refCodes were only available for items. For features and options, integration relied on attribute refCodes. 

Now, refCodes are also available for features and options, enabling direct integration without relying on attributes. RefCodes allow spaces and special characters. 

Adding refCodes

Feature refCode

1. Open the feature
2. Go to the Definition tab
3. Add the refCode in the refCodes field
4. Click 'Save'

Option refCode

1. Open the feature's option
2. Go to the Definition tab
3. Add the refCode in the refCodes field

4. Click 'Save'
