In this article you will learn how to use Spaceholders in your catalog.
With your catalog open, add the Spaceholder catalog dependency to use the available appliances. If you do not already have the Dependency component open, click the More options (...) icon and select Add Catalog Dependencies Browser.
Then, click + Add dependency catalog.
A new tab will open. Search for your desired catalog in the search field and select it. In this example, the Metric catalog is being used is Spaceholder version 1.0.348.
Now you can browse through the Spaceholder catalog item folders to find the desired items and copy the code. Simply hover your mouse cursor next to the item to make the Copy icon appear and click it.
Next, open the cabinet editor to add this spaceholder. In this example, a sink is being added to a bathroom cabinet. Within Definition > Subitems, add a subitem, and in itemRef, paste the copied code, always remembering to include the company code at the beginning, in this case, Spaceholder. Finally, adjust the dimensions to the total size of the item.
