Authoring Hub - Multi-select actions for groups

This article explains how to select multiple groups and perform bulk actions such as duplicate, copy, or delete.

To select multiple groups:

1. Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (or Cmd) (Mac)
2. Click on the required groups to select

Available Actions for Multiple Groups

Once multiple groups are selected, the following actions can be performed.

Copy Group

Copies the group structure.

What happens:

• The group and subgroups are copied
• Items remain linked (not duplicated)

Duplicate Group

Duplicates the entire group structure.

What happens:

• The group and all its subgroups are duplicated
• Items within the groups are also duplicated
• New copies are created with the same structure

Delete Group

Deletes the selected groups.

What happens: When a group is deleted, a dialog appears asking what to do with the content:

Option 1: Move content to "Uncategorised"

• Deletes the group
• Moves all subgroups and entities to the "Uncategorised" group

Option 2: Delete group and content

• Deletes the group
• Deletes all subgroups and entities within it
