Overview
Content Studio is a web-based application used to manage the life cycle of cloud content. Using Content Studio, the manufacturer publishes their content to the cloud where Cyncly design applications access and consume it.
Note: there is a maximum limit of 10 versions per catalogue and when this is reached a warning will be displayed. The message notes that the version limit is reached and requests a reduction in versions.
Manufacturers use Content Studio to publish content according to their own schedule and control access to that content according to their needs. Catalogs are made available to everyone or authorized for use by only selected retailers or individuals.
Cloud pricing allows updates and edits as required, making pricing immediately available to the Cyncly design applications.
Features
Each manufacturer assigns a Content Owner. The Content Owner will use Content Studio to manage the users and their roles and permissions. This allows you to manage users and any changes can be made instantly in-house.
Content Studio provides three main functions:
- Content: catalogs are created and defined using catalog containers. They contain the definition and categorization of the catalog contents.
- Publishing: manages the catalog life cycle by activating and deactivating versions. The publisher also determines who has access to specific content by approving authorization requests and by setting access rules on specific versions when necessary.
Note: There is a maximum limit of 10 versions per catalogue. - Pricing: manages the catalog pricing. Pricing can easily be updated as required and will show the change instantly. You can update the pricing without having to update the catalog. This is of great benefit to manufacturers as they can provide updated pricing and required price corrections at any time.
